What Pivox does
One product covering the everyday questions and the bigger ones.
-
Budgets that match real life
Set budgets by category and watch them update as money moves. Track spending across every account you add, manually or by linking a bank.
-
Cash flow you can see coming
Understand what is going out and what is left before the month ends, instead of reconstructing it afterwards.
-
Goals with a plan attached
Name what you are saving for, set a target and a date, and follow progress against it as your balances change.
-
Insights that show their work
Pivox highlights patterns in your own numbers and explains how it got there. Observations and options, never guarantees or instructions.
-
Learning built into the app
Short, practical explanations of the money decisions in front of you, written for how things actually work in Canada and the United States.
-
Protection and consultation paths
Guidance on risk and insurance, and a route to a human conversation when a decision is bigger than an app should answer alone.
How it works
Three steps, and you can stop at any of them.
-
Create an account
Sign up with an email address or Google. You are 18 or older and in Canada or the United States.
-
Add your accounts
Enter accounts and transactions by hand, or link a bank through our aggregation providers. Linking is optional — Pivox works either way.
-
See where you stand
Budgets, cash flow, and goals populate as you add data. The more you share, the more specific the picture becomes.
Built for data you would not hand to just anyone
Bank connections run through Plaid and Yodlee, and share only what account linking and transaction retrieval require. Personal information is never sold. You can export or delete your data.
How Pivox handles your data-
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Plus access controls, dependency scanning, and monitoring.
-
Linking is optional
Manual accounts and transactions work without connecting a bank.
-
Your data stays yours
Export in CSV or JSON, or delete it. Exports are purged after 30 days.
Questions worth asking first
What does Pivox cost?
The current version is offered without subscription fees. If paid plans or add-on services are introduced later, they will come with their own pricing and terms.
Where is Pivox available?
Canada and the United States, for users aged 18 and over. Terminology, disclosures, and some calculations vary by country, province, and state.
Do I have to connect a bank account?
No. You can create accounts and enter transactions manually and use budgets, goals, and insights without linking anything.
How do bank connections work?
Connections are handled by Plaid and Yodlee, which import account and transaction data on your authorization. Data shared with them is limited to what account linking and transaction retrieval require, and is governed by their privacy policies.
Does Pivox sell my data?
No. Pivox does not sell personal information. You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and export files are purged 30 days after they are created.
Is any of this financial advice?
No. Pivox provides informational tools, educational content, and software-assisted insights. Unless a separate service agreement says otherwise, nothing in the product is individualized legal, tax, investment, insurance, or financial advice.
